Licht ("the app") is developed by hectahertz. This policy describes how the app handles your data.

The short version

Licht does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Period.

Data collection

Licht does not collect:

• Personal information
• Usage analytics or telemetry
• Crash reports
• Device identifiers
• Advertising data
• Location data sent to any server

What stays on your device

All data created by Licht stays on your device:

• Photos are saved to your photo library (the "Licht" album). They never leave your device unless you share them yourself.
• Camera settings (selected film stock, shooting mode, preferences) are stored locally using on-device storage. They are never transmitted.
• Location data, if you grant permission, is embedded in the photo's EXIF metadata and saved to your photo library. It is never sent to any server.

Permissions

Licht requests the following permissions:

• Camera: Required to take photos.
• Photo Library: Required to save photos to your library.
• Location (optional): Used to embed GPS coordinates in photo EXIF data.
• Motion (optional): Used for the horizon level indicator.

No data from these permissions is transmitted off your device.

Third-party services

Licht does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking services.

Children's privacy

Licht does not collect any data from any user, including children.

If this policy changes, an updated version will be posted at this URL with a new date.
